The Realities of Being a Legitimate NDIS Provider in 2026
The NDIS was built on a powerful promise that Australians living with disability would have access to the support they need to live independently, with dignity, and on their own terms.
At Timeless Healthcare, that promise is why we show up every single day, we are very passionate about what we do.
But in 2026, showing up has never been as stressful.
Where It All Started
Timeless Healthcare wasn’t born in a meeting room. It was built from the ground up by people who had spent years on the frontlines of disability support and allied health, people who saw what was missing and decided to do something about it.
Our founding team brings together over a decade of hands-on experience.
One of our directors has been working as a disability support worker since 2016, supporting participants with autism in the community.
Two other directors came from Canada with a strong background in sport, a deep interest in the human body, and a clear vision: to fill a gap they identified in the physiotherapy and allied health sector in Australia.
What united us wasn’t just professional experience. It was a shared frustration with the way services were being delivered and a belief that participants deserved better from their local NDIS care providers.
The Gap Nobody Was Talking About
Having worked across multiple allied health and disability support organisations, we kept seeing the same problem.
Participants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds were struggling to access services comfortably.
Language barriers, cultural differences, and a lack of genuine inclusion meant that some of the people who needed support the most were the least likely to receive it in a way that actually worked for them.
That insight became the foundation of Timeless Healthcare. We built a practice where participants could access allied health services, including physiotherapy and support work, in their own language, with an NDIS provider Liverpool residents could trust to genuinely understand their cultural context.
The response was immediate. Participants who had previously felt uncomfortable or excluded in clinical settings told us they finally felt heard.
That comfort and inclusion isn’t a bonus feature of what we do. It’s central to it.
A Journey Five Years in the Making
Our very first participant came to us needing support to improve her activities of daily living and her mobility.
Five years later, she is still with us, and the progress she has made over that journey is a constant reminder of why we do this work.
We don’t have a family member with a disability that led us here.
What we do have is something that has grown into something equally meaningful, genuine, lasting friendships with the people we support.
Over ten years in this sector, delivering comprehensive NDIS support services Liverpool families rely on, the participants we have worked alongside have become people we care about deeply.
That is not a professional talking point. It is simply the truth of what this work becomes when you do it with your whole heart.

What’s Happening in the Industry Right Now
Let’s be honest about the current climate, because our participants deserve honesty and so does the broader community.
The NDIS is under enormous pressure. The federal government has moved to cancel or restrict a significant number of providers following years of fraud, misuse of funds, and exploitation of a scheme designed to protect some of Australia’s most vulnerable people.
We understand why these measures are being taken. Accountability in this sector is not optional, it is essential.
But the reality of how this crackdown lands on the ground is far more complicated than the headlines suggest.
We are seeing participants who genuinely need support being denied funding increases or having their plans cut back.
We are watching people lose the independence they worked hard to build.
We are supporting participants who have been abandoned by cancelled providers, left confused, anxious, and unsure of where to turn.
The distress this causes is real and it is significant.
At the same time, legitimate organisations operating as a dedicated NDIS service provider Liverpool trusts are navigating reduced travel rates, rising fuel costs, and increasing cost-of-living pressures, all while managing a heavier compliance burden than ever before, not because we have done anything wrong, but simply because the system has tightened around everyone equally.
A Statistic That Changes the Conversation
There is an argument being made, often loudly, that the NDIS has become too expensive and that the solution is to restrict access and reduce spending.
We want to offer a different perspective.
Only 10% of Australians living with disability currently have an NDIS plan. That means 90% do not.
As of 2022, there are approximately 5.5 million Australians with disability, representing 21.4% of the total population.
If the NDIS budget continues to grow year on year, it is at least partly because more people who need and deserve support are finally accessing it.
That is not a failure of the scheme. That is the scheme working.
We believe a more useful conversation would focus on rooting out the bad actors, and there are bad actors, while protecting the participants and providers who are doing exactly what the NDIS was designed for, including delivering essential NDIS personal care services Liverpool residents desperately need.
How We Do Things Differently
Clinical governance is not a checkbox at Timeless Healthcare. It is how we operate as a standard.
We document everything. Our policies and procedures run to pages and pages of detailed clinical governance frameworks that our entire team abides by daily.
Whether you are working with our support team or an NDIS approved occupational therapist, our professionals are accountable. Our administration is tight. We do not take on clients we cannot properly and appropriately serve.
When industry changes loom, we do not hide from our participants.
We have been transparent with the people in our care about what is happening in the sector, particularly for those whose plans may be affected by upcoming reviews.
And alongside that transparency, we give them something more important: certainty. We are not going anywhere.
We are here to stand the test of time, and that is not just our name, it is our commitment.
Looking Forward
The future is uncertain. We will not pretend otherwise.
In the short term, the pressures on this sector are going to hurt providers like us, providers who have never cut a corner, never overbilled, never treated a participant as anything less than a person worthy of the highest standard of care.
That is an uncomfortable truth.
But we also know this: the quality of care we stand behind will carry us through. Systems evolve. Policies change.
And organisations that are built on genuine values, strong clinical practice, and real relationships with the people they serve are the ones that endure.
We have always been flexible. We will continue to adapt.
And no matter what the landscape looks like, our participants will always be at the centre of every decision we make.
